The Academia Europa Nostra Association has received an invitation to cooperate in implementing the initiative of establishing the Polish-Belarusian “Przybuże” Cross-border Cooperation Area. The goal of the initiative is to develop a new model of cooperation between territorial self-governments of the Brest - Biała Podlaska Region. On February 27-28, 2020, AEN experts were moderators of workshops involving stakeholders of this initiative. The meeting observers were representatives of the European Commission and the Consulate of the Republic of Belarus in Poland. During the workshop, bilateral experience was analysed, conditions and instruments of territorial integration in the 2021-2027 programming period were discussed, and further development directions of the Przybuże initiative were indicated.
